Collect all necessary tools: a spare tire, jack, lug wrench, and wheel chocks to ensure safety while changing the tire.
Loosen the Lug Nuts
Before lifting the car, use the lug wrench to turn the lug nuts counterclockwise. Loosen them slightly but do not remove them completely at this stage.
Lift and Replace Tire
Position the jack under the vehicle's jacking point and lift until the tire is off the ground. Remove the lug nuts, take off the flat tire, and replace it with the spare.
